Our first stomach virus that involved throwing up! We have been fortunate enough to go 6.5 years without throwing up, but our fortune has ended. Olivia Grace has had her first. I picked her up from school and everything was fine, but once she finished dance class she started complaining of her stomach hurting. As with most children you really don't know what that means or if it really means anything at all. I encouraged her to lay on her bed to see if she felt better. She got up to whine to Ashley about it. He was in the process of telling her that if she would get on her bed it would help her, when she backed up and threw her hands up. So glad she threw her hands up or he would have had a lap full. So it began. I really expected it to be worse than it was since she doesn't handle sickness or hurt very well. We went 6 hours throwing up ever 15 minutes until she finally stopped and fell asleep. So at least we got a peaceful nights sleep. She has been fine this morning, but she is afraid to eat (like who wouldn't after their first experience). I am just praying that no one else gets it, especially the twins, I would rather have it than them. I have washed sheets, sprayed Lysol everywhere and wiped down all I can. I hope it is very short lived in our house. SO PRAY that it is GONE!!!
