So Clairebeth gets in the car after school on Monday and says "Moma, they didn't teach me how to read!"
I said "they will". 
She said "when?" 
She wants everything now, we have been telling the twins that they will learn how to read when they go to Kindergarten.  I tried to explain that it is a process, that it takes more than one day, I don't think she's buying it.  
She also was upset today that they didn't run in PE.  Olivia Grace has been telling her that she will have to run.  I think she is definitely on "go" when it comes to school.  
Hope the teachers are ready for that little redhead, she has an agenda for when she returns.

Maggie Ray's teachers were shocked that she is "the shy one".  She has entertained the class with a song and dance.  I really wanted them separated so she could blossom and develop her own self.  I think she is off to a wonderful start.  

One week down

The girls have completed one week of school. I am so glad to be back to a routine.

First day of school.

YAHOO... First day of school. They have been so excited and I am ready to get back to our schedule. Next Summer we will have a schedule to help me keep my sanity.
I hope everyone's first day is wonderful and full of memories.

Here's to a New School Year

This afternoon I spent my time packing 3 backpacks, filling out forms, preparing snacks and gathering school supplies for tomorrow.
TOMORROW IS THE DAY!! All the girls go to school. Olivia Grace will be in 4th grade and the twins will be starting Kindergarten.  I don't know who is more excited about going to school me or them.  The past week has been so difficult keeping them entertained and not at each others throats.  They are so ready to be in school I just hope that they aren't disappointed once they get there and realize that Kindergarten is different than Preschool.
The twins will not be in the same classroom due to me requesting that they be separated and they are so excited to be separate.  Their classrooms are across they hall from one another and they will get to be together during PE and outside time.  They will get to see one another at lunch but they won't be sitting together.  I cannot wait to hear the conversations after school as they compare their day since they have never been separated.   So as I go to put them to bed on the eve before they go to School I just pray they go to sleep.

It feels really nice outside so I made myself a cup of coffee and went to sit out under the trees. As the wind gently blows and the girls play around me I find myself being used as a lounging chair. Meet Max, he is rather demanding when it comes to attention.

Why I RUN!!

People ask "why do you run?"  For the obvious reasons, exercise, health, to loose weight... But really I run because it gives me a goal.  Whether it be preparing for an upcoming 5K or just to challenge myself to get to complete the next mile.  Whatever your reason, do it as long as it makes you happy.  I love to clear my mind and leave all my thoughts behind.  I enjoy those thoughtless runs so if you see me wondering aimlessly around, I'm not thinking, I'm just enjoying myself!!

22 Months Later

It has been 22 months since I last BLOGGED!!  Time has gone really fast and things have changed so much.  I am going to try to get back into the grove of my blogging and catch everyone up on what has been going on the past 2 years.
