Rehearsal Dinner

We had John Tyler and Honeycutt's wedding this weekend. Here is a picture of the groom's cake from the Rehearsal dinner
Maggie Ray and Claire Beth wasted no time getting to the food
Here are some pictures from the Rehearsal dinner.
We used a golf cart to transport the food from the preparation site to where we were actually eating, but the girls felt it was more of a play toy.
Doesn't she look like a princess?

4 Wheelin'

My Dad came up on the 4 wheeler and the girls had a "fit" to ride.
Maggie Ray on the 4 wheeler with ReRe (my mom)

Olivia Grace with ReRe and Poppie
Then Uncle Roger (my brother) came up on his 4 wheeler. Claire Beth convinced Uncle Roger to take her for a ride.

Hurricane Hanna

The following are pictures of the girls entertaining themselves while we were inside for Hurricane Hanna. Olivia Grace made a car out of a diaper box and the twins thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The Creator poses for a quick picture.
Now they have moved on to emptying out my ribbon box to play.
Then it was off to creating head bands
Head bands for two.. Doesn't she look thrilled!?
We didn't have any damage from the wind or rain, just a few tree limbs blown down and we have entertained ourselves well..

Headed to Mom's Morning Out

Maggie Ray and Claire Beth pose for a picture before we leave for Mom's Morning Out.
Maggie Ray in her typical state of smiles....
Claire Beth in her typical state of concern.
They both seem to be thinking "hmm What can we get into next?"
I just couldn't resist posting this picture

18 years of dedication to the Fire Service

Happy 18 years.
Ashley has spent the past 18 years dedicated to the fire service.
This picture is from his first year on Buies Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Here he is with one of his good friends Fern at a burn in Clinton NC in 1994. Happy 18 years Honey... You certainly are the flame in our life...Love your 4 girls.

Another day in the life of 3 girls....

As we headed out to my parents house today, Claire Beth was determined to take this basket with her and her "fluffy" had to be inside of it. Her "fluffy" is a lovie that my best friend Liles made for the girls when they were born. Claire Beth loves hers, I mean loves hers and has to have it any time she goes to bed. Thanks Liles, we couldn't live without it...
Olivia Grace practicing her riding skills. She does really well on pavement, but the dirt is another challenge. She actually did really well.
Maggie Ray loves to see how things work so today her project was taking the packing peanuts out of a closed box. We later noticed that she had taken the egg carton out of the trash and was filling it with the peanuts. She is fun to watch and she watches everything you do so she can learn to do it also.

Claire Beth is back to her old self

Claire Beth has had a little "bug" for a couple of days. Doesn't she look pitiful?
Here with a washcloth to cool her off. She is all better now, "bug" gone....
