The simple pleasures in life

Do you remember when playing in a sprinkler was so much fun? Claire Beth comes at full force and Maggie Ray looks like she is kissing the dolphin.
Maggie Ray decides ...."what is water without a little dirt?"
Even Olivia Grace enjoys the cool water on such a hot day.

Beach Bunnies

We spent a few days at the beach with BeBe and family. Claire Beth really enjoyed the sand much more than the water.
Maggie Ray loved the water, she and Lauren spent some time catching some rays.....Don't worry, she wore sunscreen...Olivia Grace loved the water, she used her skills that she learned in swim classes last week.
Here are the girls with BeBe enjoying some shade..
I told you Claire Beth loved the sand, she spent most of her time right here on the shore...

5th Annual Blueberry Festival

We attended the Blueberry Festival today.
We had eaten a pint before we left

Olivia Grace enjoyed herself on the huge slide. Of course the twins wanted to join in, but they are too small.

Get Well soon Poppie!!

Poppie we hope you get well soon. My Dad had an emergency appendectomy surgery on Thursday. We were so surprised, since he is 70 years old. We were even more surprised to learn that once they went in to remove his appendix it had ruptured. He came home Friday night because the Doctors said he was doing so well. We are glad to have him home and can't wait until he is up on his feet again, it takes A LOT to keep him down.

Farm Girls going for a joy ride

Here are the girls on Granddaddy's tractor. It only has a few years on it (lol), the tractor originally belonged to his father it is from the 1950's... It still does a lot of work around here, but it sometimes takes a lot to keep it running..

Lauren's Graduation

Here is an updated picture of me and the girls from Lauren's Graduation Party today. We love you Lauren, you are our superstar and we couldn't be more proud of what you have accomplished.
Roger, Vera and Madelyn are due a new baby brother in October.
With all these girls he has to be tough...

CONGRATS LAUREN ELIZABETH FUSSELL

CONGRATS TO LAURENMy "little" cousin Lauren graduated from High School today.
Not only is she absolutely beautiful, athletic, a talented musician, and an excellent baker, she was Valedictorian of her class. We aren't 100% sure where she got all those smart genes, but we are sure who she belongs to and none of us have any questions about claiming her as ours......
We are so proud of her (in case you couldn't tell).
Lauren will be heading off to CAROLINA this fall....GO TARHEELS!!

Lauren has a huge shoe collection and absolutely LOVES shoes.

Therefore Aunt Beth "BeBe" and Uncle Bo "Bo Bo" had a cake made that look like shoe boxes. Maybe sometime I can take a picture of her shoe collection, it is awesome....

Here is Lauren with all my girls.

For those of you that don't remember, John Tyler is the "CHEF" in the family. He owns the Stone Leaf Cafe here in Wallace. My girls love him and not just for the food he feeds them, but because he is irresistible. Here he is with Claire Beth.

If you're ever in Wallace, please come visit us at the Stone Leaf Cafe. Check out the website http://www.stoneleafcafe.com/ 110 West Main Street, Wallace.

It will definitely be a meal of great pleasure.

Dress up time

Olivia Grace has always loved to play dress up.
Claire Beth has a love of necklaces and an even bigger love of purses
Maggie Ray loves it all, but she is the Hat Queen.. Her eyes are her most wonderful feature

Tater Heads

For those who don't know, we live on a FARM... Ashley's Father plants a garden every year and this year not only does he have extra mouths to feed, but also extra hands to help. Maggie Ray and Claire Beth felt the urge to lend a helping hand on this day. They may be dressed in their bows, but they don't mind getting a little dirty. Haven't you ever heard "a little dirt never hurt anybody" ?

This will be the beginning of our blog. I wanted to create a page for our family and friends to be able to keep up with our ever changing world. I am so totally in love with my family and am truly blessed, therefore I want to share our life with all of you.
