The lastest around here...

You know life goes so fast and the girls are changing all the time.
Olivia Grace is almost finished with here Kindergarten year. She has really enjoyed herself and has really done well. At first we did have a few concerns since she is the youngest you can be to go to school, but she soon proved us wrong. She has done so well and has proven herself to be able to accept the challenge. She has been taking dance as well and that is almost to an end for this year. She took dance when we were in Buies Creek, but had to quit when I was put on bed rest and she moved to Wallace to live.
Claire Beth, lord what can we say about Claire Beth. She is such entertainment. She decided 3 days after her 2nd Birthday that she wanted to be potty trained. She has done exceptionally well and has such control. She constantly keeps us laughing. She is now referring to herself in the third person. She pronounces it "CLER" which is so cute.
Maggie Ray has always been our quiet one but over the past 2-3 days she has really been voicing herself. She loves music, loves to dance and has also decided that singing fits her. She is a little determined to get her way when she has a thought.
The teenage years should be fun around here with all these girls...Please pray for us.
Ashley and I are doing great even with all this craziness. We just celebrated our 11th anniversary. Ashley continues to commute to Raleigh for work and currently is in Florida inspecting a Fire Truck for his work place. I am still helping John Tyler at the restaurant. I call this "my adult time" since I am away from the girls and enjoying myself at the same time.

Happy Birthday Greysen

We went to celebrate Greysen's 4th birthday and the girls had a blast. Here are the oldest girls posing for a quick pictutre. Olivia Grace, Greysen and Maggie Ray

Claire Beth even wanted to take a try. Strangely Maggie Ray wasn't having any part in it.

Easter Egg Hunt at Hopewell Church

Ashley is fortunate enough to have a Great Grandparent still living. His Great Grandmother "MarMar" will be 96 in August. We spent the morning at her Church enjoying an Easter Egg hunt with the girls.

Here is Ashley, Maggie Ray (with her eyes covered), Claire Beth and MarMar after the hunt
Oh, look at our eggs. Olivia Grace gathered 39 eggs, Claire Beth gathered 28 eggs and Maggie Ray gathered 24 eggs.

Olivia Grace was very considerate of her sisters and let them get eggs and she ran on ahead to get ones that were farther away

Maggie Ray
What pride she has for those eggs.

Claire Beth wanted more eggs. She is really good at gathering them up

In the beginning there were lots of eggs, only candy left in the end....
We had a great time and are so glad that we got to see MarMar.

Making a run for the eggs

They had a live bunny there that everyone got to pet.

He was really soft. We told them that Poppie had a house full of bunnies.

HOW DID TODAY GET SO CRAZY??

HOW DID TODAY GET SO CRAZY?
Ok, do some of you feel like you are so busy that your head is spinning? That is a typical day here in the Bradshaw house, but as I type this I am amazed that I actually have everything done and have nothing to do. Yes, I said it out loud, NOTHING TO DO, but it took some work to get here today.
This crazy day consist of the girls getting up at 7 am (our usual time on non-school days), breakfast, bath for all of us. We usually do this at night on Tuesday and Saturday but we really need it today since Claire Beth is a master at collecting food in her hair. I usually wash my hair at night and just curl it in the mornings, but last night was a late night at the Restaurant (thank you God). After baths we dressed, packed juice and a snack and out the door we headed to drop Olivia Grace off to spend time with ReRe.
Then it was off to the Veranda to see BeBe. While there we also got in our weekly visit with Ms. Kim (we love you Ms. Kim). I then went to the grocery to get items to bake a cake for the Stone Leaf . The twins ate lunch that John Tyler and Andrew prepared(don't judge, it was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and FRUIT). We loaded back up in the car to head home for a nap.
Mind you it is now 12:00. So home for the twins to take a nap and I am busy baking a cake for the Restaurant.
Finished the cake, iced it, loaded it in the car along with the girls to drop off the cake to John Tyler and some clothes to my cousin Amie's house.
Then we headed to Wilmington to hit Target and Sam's
only to arrive back home at 5:10pm and start dinner.
This is when the day finally slowed down and I was able to play outside for a little while and enjoy this beautiful weather and steal a few precious moments with my "sweeties". We were able to eat dinner together before I had to wash up the dishes from dinner. I also got to read some books to them, put on a load of clothes, fold clothes, straighten up Olivia Grace's room due to "twin damage" clean the toilet since Claire Beth helped herself off without wiping.....thanks girlfriend....... vacuum the hallway and spot mop then kitchen floor.
We read our bedtime books, took our vitamins, fluoride drops, brushed our teeth, prepared our beds for the night, which takes a while since they have to decide which books to put in and they always want the one that the other on just picked up. It is MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO around here. So finally it's lights out for the twins. All this accomplished by 7:o7pm.
SSHHEEWWWWW
I think I deserve a few minutes to myself tonight so I am now off to put another load in the dryer, wash my face, brush my teeth, plug in my cell phone, check in on the girls, cover them up, put on my pj's and GO TO BED.
Tomorrow holds an Easter egg hunt...I can only imagine how exciting that will be.
I can't believe that I actually got some quality moments with them out of this CRAZY day.

Learning the basics

Beautiful Blue Eyes

Maggie Ray has the most beautiful blue eyes
She has the most beautiful smile and those eyes are to die for.
We pray that her permanent teeth come in this straight and beautiful.

Another photo to prove my point that she has beautiful eyes.

Double Trouble

Double trouble pose for a picture.
A good one of Claire Beth. It is hard to get a good one of both of them at the same time.

The sweet smell of SPRING

Claire Beth smelling the tulips that Olivia Grace grew herself.
"look aren't they pretty"
