Puzzles

This is the beginning. I found Maggie Ray completing this puzzle I thought it was a little much for a 2 almost 3 year old. But she completed it in a matter of seconds.
I thought that was pretty impressive.

All done!!

Love to hear them talk

CONVERSATION:
Maggie Ray "Come read to me Claire Beth"
Claire Beth "lets read on the couch"
Maggie Ray "you point to the pictures and ask me what they are"
Claire Beth "ok ray-ray, what's this"

It's just fun to listen to them talk to one another.

Not really suprised

So I am at the Grocery store picking up a few things and see that they have frozen dinners on sale for $.88. I usually don't do frozen dinners, but thought I would pick one up to have as a side for the girls chicken nuggets. So I picked up the following.

Looks pretty good...right? Well I thought so and felt it would be something different for them to have. So I cooked it up just like the directions said, got their chicken nuggets and grapes all ready and took it out of the microwave to find our delicious side to be...........

THIS.... OK, I don't expect a miracle, but this looks NOTHING like the picture on the box, I mean I could barely find the grains of rice and it looks like someone already ate it.
The good thing is at least I only bought one and thank god it only cost me $.88. Maggie Ray wanted to eat it, but Claire Beth wouldn't have any thing to do with it.
So needless to say, I will not be buying any of these again.

Improvements

I have had the girls all weekend by myself so in my delirious state I have been doing some things around the house. First I went and bought the paint for our bathroom and put some on the wall just to make sure the color was right. It is perfect and I love it, I will post pictures when I am done. I did paint the mirror and it made a huge difference just with that painted.
Then we finally finished the fireplaces in the girls rooms. Thanks to my dear friend Rachel she made the monograms for their mantels and they look fabulous. Thanks Rachel!!

Now if it will get warm enough for Ashley to get outside and build the boxes I want to hang where the canvases are then at least one project will be complete.

Ball Season is almost here!!

So Ashley signed Olivia Grace up for t-ball again this year. She really wanted to play again so we thought" why not lets see how she does since she enjoyed it last year". Well, I get a call yesterday and Angie wants to know if she would be interested in playing softball instead. I think the t-ball team was young this year so they wanted to see if she would move up. When I asked her, she was so excited, you wouldn't believe how big those blue eyes can get.
Therefore, Olivia Grace will be playing Little Darlings softball this year in lieu of t-ball. She is super excited and can't wait to get started. If you're interested in coming to any of the games let me know and I will make sure I get you a schedule. I will try to remember to post the schedule here on the blog, but if I forget, forgive me....
Boy do they grow up fast.

Weekend here we come

OK so Ashley is working Friday, Sunday, Tuesday this week, but he is a Burn Instructor and has a burn Saturday, therefore I have the girls by myself until Monday. I might want to pull my hair out by Monday, but I really do love my life. I really wish I could have a camera crew here to capture all the really funny things that go on around here. Not only do they have an enormous about of energy, but the things they say and do just crack me up and keep me laughing for days. So I may be hairless on Monday when you see me, but I will be LAUGHING.

Our First Black Eye

Olivia Grace with her first black eye. She was twirling around and lost her balance, as she "went down" she hit her face on the corner of the table
After 6 1/2 years if a black eye is all we have received I consider ourselves lucky.

PIZZA NIGHT

Tonight was pizza night at the Bradshaw house~~

Claire Beth, Olivia Grace and Maggie Ray wearing the aprons that Lauren made for them.
Rolling out the dough

Putting the cheese on top. Claire Beth sneaks a few bites of cheese

Her $ and her note from the toothfairy.

Walking to the Cemetery

We have a Cemetery where we live that we love to go visit and talk about Ashley's Grandparent, GreatGrandparents and so forth.
Walking to the cemetery

Posing on Ashley's Grandparents headstone....
Maggie Lou and Thomas Rayford Bradshaw

Claire Beth always says "lets go visit Maggie Lou" (Ashley's Grandmother)
It cracks me up, she talks like she knows or knew her, but she passed away when the twins were 12 days old.
