It's Official

OK, It is official, I have an experimental eater. 

Claire Beth has been trying new combinations on her own for about a month now. 

First we had string cheese dipped in ketchup, which sounds really gross and I won't be trying it on purpose. 

Yesterday when she requested her lunch, she wanted a cheese sandwich, NOT A GRILLED CHEESE, but just plain sliced cheese on bread.  Once I got the "cheese sandwich" together, she then requested that I "put that white stuff on it like I put on banana sandwiches"..... mayonnaise!!! 

Then today she wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, HER FAVORITE.  So I made her sandwich and then cut up a cucumber and gave them some ranch dressing and tomatoes.  I came back to the kitchen to find her dipping her cucumber slices in ranch dressing and putting them on her peanut butter and jelly sandwich. 

YUCK is all I have to say, but as long as she is happy and she actually eats this stuff.  Maybe she will be a gourmet chef when she grows up..I know that is a long time away and long shot of a dream, but her creativity is interesting.
